Went for a bike ride today. Yup that's right, first bike ride this year!! It looked gloomy in the morning outside, but thankfully the sun came out in the afternoon and I took my road bike out for a ride along the canal pathway to Chestermere and back. No idea on the exact time 90 minutes approx and no bike computer, I just road like I felt. It was a little windy, but not too bad. My legs felt it, the lack of riding. Still not sure how I'm finishing this year off. I think I may just stay away from the races and just get back to some general biking/running and who knows maybe even go for a swim here and there?
Cam didn't post the finish pic of both of us. If you didn't read my race report this is what basically happened. We started running together at about 5 or 6 miles, got to 18 miles and he went into a portapotty. I slowed in the last five miles and he caught me right at the finish. Pretty good picture, I might actually buy it as it'll be a good memory down the road.
